Certificates
EcoCert is a French organic certification organisation operating since 1991. Although initially focused on promoting organic farming, over time it expanded its scope of certification to include cosmetics, cleaning products and textiles. In order to receive the EcoCert certificate, a cosmetic must meet strict requirements:
the composition of the product must consist of at least 95% plant ingredients of organic origin,
at least 10% of ingredients must be certified organic ingredients,
the ingredients of the product and the product itself must not be: contaminated, exposed to harmful radiation, free from nitrosamines, genetically modified or tested on animals,
packaging must be biodegradable or recyclable,
the production process must be transparent and clean,
the company must manage its waste and energy consumption in an environmentally friendly way.

The USDA, the U. S. Department of Agriculture, certifies organic crops based on a number of criteria:
method of planting and sowing plants,
method of soil fertilization,
ways of dealing with pests, fungi, diseases and weeds,
cultivation techniques used,
materials used.
Organic Indygo Indus Valley meets all criteria specified by the U. S. Department of Agriculture and has been certified organic by the USDA.
India Organic is a certificate awarded to organically grown plant products. The certificate is issued by accredited laboratories that verify the compliance of the product with the National Organic Production Programme issued by the Indian Ministry of Trade and Industry.
India Organic certification means that the ingredients used in the product and/or the product itself have been produced organically, without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers and hormones.
Method of use
Mix indigo with henna and warm water in the right proportions for a thick paste. Add yogurt for extra softness.
Moisten your hair. Apply with a brush to your hair, strand by strand. Leave on your hair for 40-60 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.
For grey or blonde hair, we recommend pre-pigmentation with henna.
Recommended ratios of indigo and henna for different shades:
Indigo/henna
Soft Black 4:1
Dark Brown 3:2
Bronze 2:3
Light Brown 1:4
To get the desired effect, read the label placed on the packaging and the enclosed booklet with cosmetic recipes.
Note
Remember that the result of dyeing depends on the type and color of the hair, the time of application and the use of heat. This is not a chemical paint that gives instant results. If your hair has been groomed and chemically colored, it may take time to get the right results. Wait a few days to evaluate the effect of coloring - the hair color will become darker for 5 days after application. Regular use provides the best results. You can combine indigo, henna and colorless henna to create new shades.
Recommendations and safety measures
Before use, do a sensitivity test, as in some cases even herbs can be sensitizing. Wear gloves during application. Suitable over 12 years of age. For external use only. Do not use in the eye area or on cuts and abrasions. If it gets into eyes, rinse with water. Store in a dry and cool place, out of reach of children. Made in India.
